Motor Carrier Authority Reinstatement

Category:

The Motor Carrier Authority Reinstatement is for MC Numbers or other authorities that have been either voluntarily or involuntarily revoked. An authority can be revoked for any of the following reasons.

  • Insurance coverage has lapsed.
  • Insurance coverage has been canceled.
  • Insurance provider was changed and not updated appropriately.
  • BOC-3 was removed.
  • BOC-3 is no longer valid due to change in company name, or address, and was not amended.
  • Owner has chosen to revoke authority.

Once it has been revoked, you will be unable to use the authority until a BOC-3 is filed, insurance policy is attached, and the reinstatement is filed. Our legal department will complete the reinstatement filing on your behalf and once filed, the authority will go into an Authorized Status within a few business days.
